The Neurotoxin Process

Step 1: Consultation

Before receiving a neurotoxin at Uplift like Botox in Oakdale, we ask that you first go through with a consultation with one of our registered nurses. This consultation gives us the opportunity to learn more about you while ensuring that this treatment aligns with your cosmetic goals. Once we determine which neurotoxin is the right fit for you, we’ll move forward with your injection!

At your appointment, our certified nurse injector will first assess and mark the treatment area. Then, they’ll carefully administer the neurotoxin in a series of tiny injections. The neurotoxin prevents the facial muscles from contracting, softening the look of moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles.

Step 3: Follow-Up

You won’t have any downtime after your injection for Jeuveau, Dysport, or Botox in Oakdale! You may experience some mild bruising or swelling, but otherwise, you can return to your normal activities. Results last for around 3 to 4 months, after which we recommend coming back for your follow-up injection at Uplift Aesthetics!
